Presidents Ellen Johnson Sirleaf of Liberia and Ernest Bai Koroma of Sierra Leone will not be participating in the the US-Africa Leaders Summit.
Sahara Reporters claim that the duo cancel their appearance to enable them effectively tackle the Ebola Virus outbreak, spread in their countries.

In Liberia, ss part of the plan to tackle Ebola, government officials will no longer be allowed to travel unless it is "absolutely necessary and critical" and all non-essential staff — to be determined by the minister or head of an agency — have been placed on 30-day compulsory leave.
Vice President, Joseph Boakai and a handful of officials will attend the summit on behalf of Sirleaf.
Also in Sierra Leone,President Koroma cancelled his participation at the US-Africa Leaders Summit and announced a state of emergency for Ebola.
